Wrongful Termination, Retaliation, Harassment based on discrimination is first investigated by the The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) before you can file a lawsuit. What you do during the EEOC can limit your lawsuit. The EEOC is an enforcement unit just like the police. The EEOC is the Federal agency that investigates discrimination claims in the work place but many locations also have state or local agencies as well plus you may have rights under a contract or union.

Pregnancy Discrimination is just one example!

Many employees are terminated, past up for promotion, paid less, demoted, hours reduced after notifying their employer that they have become pregnant.
